Why we built Veladon.

The EU AI Act Article 26 kicks in August 2, 2026. ISO 42001 certification cycles are already mid-rollout. NIST AI RMF MAP-4 and MEASURE-2 are expected evidence for any US federal or regulated-sector auditor touching AI use. Every one of these standards asks the same question in different words: show me the record of what your employees sent to a public LLM, and what you did about it.

At 500-2,500 employee regulated mid-market companies, the answer is usually: we have an acceptable-use policy, we ran a training in Q3, and we trust our people. That answer is about to fail its first EU AI Act audit.

The enterprise DLP tools for this problem (Harmonic Security, Prompt Security, Lakera Guard, Netskope GenAI, Zscaler DLP, Microsoft Purview AI Hub) are priced for 10,000+ employee organizations with 15+ person Compliance teams. The mid-market has been told to wait for those tools to come downmarket, or to self-build with open-source regex filters and pray.

Who we are

Veladon is a venture of Grindworks Studio, a portfolio of NA B2B ventures launched April 2026.
